Days We Kept is a female owned company set up through the guilt & chaos of being a mum and wanting to capture every moment.
When my 2nd child was 6 weeks old my 3 year old son had his 1st summer holiday, I couldn’t do as much with him as I wanted (and felt like I was expected) to, so I made him a diary that we could keep each day to remind me at the end of each day, that even if to me if felt we had done nothing, to him, he had had the best day of his life, everyday! My mum-guilt slipped away, and I was able to soak in the beauty of summer holidays through his eyes.
The summer holidays are often overwhelming and full of pressure for parents to have 100’s of activities and entertainment up their sleeves, also most parents work and feel guilty for not being with their kids every day.
These journals are designed to capture memories of their kids everyday no matter what they do and no matter who they do it with. The magic in it, is that usually it’s the smallest moments that are the best part of your kid’s day.
The journals are designed for the beautiful chaos, for remembering the imperfect of perfect days and for capturing those moments to live with you forever.
We only have 16 summers with our kids, let’s capture every moment to look back on!
